Privacy Policy

Type0 is made by Zuki Tech. This policy explains what happens to your recordings and information when you use the Type0 app for iPhone and Apple Watch and this website.

Your recordings

• Recordings are saved on your iPhone or Apple Watch first. Recording and playback work without an internet connection.
• Audio recorded on your Apple Watch is sent to your paired iPhone.
• Online processing is off until you turn it on. While it is off, your recordings stay on your device.

Online processing

If you turn on online transcription and summaries, audio is sent over an encrypted connection to the Type0 server. The server sends it to AI models from OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Anthropic or DeepSeek to produce text and summaries, and returns the results to your device. We keep the text needed to provide the service. You can turn online processing off at any time in Settings.

Your account

When you sign in we store your email address, the name you give us and the languages you speak, so we can send sign-in codes and transcribe accurately. If you subscribe in the app, payment is handled by Apple; we don’t see your card details.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your data.
• We don’t record secretly — the app always shows when it’s recording.

Deleting your data

You can delete any recording in the app, or remove just its audio and keep the text. To delete your account and the data stored on our servers, email admin@zukitech.com from the address you signed in with.

Recording other people

Laws about recording conversations differ by place. Before you record other people, make sure you have any consent you need.
