Your recordings,
inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.
Your AI already knows how to think. Now it knows what you said.
Type0 connects to any AI assistant that speaks MCP. Ask about your walks, calls and late-night voice notes, and get answers drawn from your own words.

https://api.type0.io/mcpWhat you can ask
Talk to your assistant like you’d talk to someone who was there.
“What did I decide about the launch on Tuesday’s walk?”
“Summarize the ideas I had this week.”
“Find every time I mentioned Sarah’s birthday.”
“Turn last month’s video ideas into an outline.”
“What did I promise on yesterday’s call with the client?”
“Write a post about this week’s ideas, in the way I talk.”

What your assistant can do
Four read-only tools. Your assistant picks the right one when you ask.
Browse by date
list_recordingsSee what you recorded on a day or over a stretch of days.
Search everything
search_notesLook across titles, notes and full transcripts for a word, a name or an idea.
Open one recording
get_recordingRead its full notes, and the transcript too if you want every word.
Catch up
get_recent_notesPull the notes from the last few days in one go.
Your notes stay yours
Connecting an assistant shouldn’t mean handing over your life.
Read-only
Your assistant can read your notes. It can’t edit, delete or record anything.
Only your own notes
It signs in as you and sees your recordings — nobody else’s.
Only when you ask
Nothing is shared in the background. Notes are read only when you ask something that needs them.
Revoke anytime
Remove the connector in your AI app, or delete your API key on type0.io, and access stops.
Questions, answered
What is MCP?
+
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to apps and data. Type0’s MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP apps read your Type0 notes when you ask them to.
Is it free?
+
Yes. The Type0 MCP server is included on every plan, including the free one.
Which apps work with it?
+
Claude (web, desktop and mobile), Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any other app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP. The server URL is https://api.type0.io/mcp.
Is it safe? Can my assistant change my notes?
+
Access is read-only: an assistant can search and read your notes, but it can’t edit, delete or record anything. It only sees your own recordings, only when you ask, and you can revoke access at any time.
Does it work with Chinese recordings?
+
Yes. Search and notes work in Chinese and English, and you can ask your assistant in either language.
Can I use an API key instead of signing in?
+
Yes. For apps without OAuth, create an API key at type0.io/scribe/api-keys and send it as an Authorization: Bearer <key> header. Delete the key to cut off access.

Start recording. Then ask away.
Type0 is coming soon to Apple Watch and iPhone.
